Hello! My name is Katie Horne! I am 14 years old and I live with my mom, dad, and two brothers.
I love making friends and spending lots of time with them. I have many interests including talking, sketching, cooking/baking, sewing, talking working in the garage with whatever tools and materials are available, talking, emailing, working on the computer with designer programs, and yes, talking. :-) I am the format person for Greater Things, a Church publication through the VLB department, as well as the many strenuous duties brought forward by being the daughter of James R. Horne. I love my poodle. <3
Happy Easter! This time I have some pictures. We had a great Easter this year.
Joe wasn't very excited, but that is to be expected, he never is.
Family Photo. The boys never smile. But if you never mind that, good photo!
This is me is my new Easter dress. Thanks, Grandma!
This year we had a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt. After church Sunday night we went to the back to have pizzas. Some of us helped put little glow sticks in the eggs, then the older guys went and hid them. Everyone was super excited:
And the kids/teens especially enjoyed it.
Well, I guess that that is it. See you later blog land!
Ok, This Polar Plunge thing should be ending right now, but nooooooo! This morning, I was nominated! Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh! I love missions, but seeing as how March is over, and the marker in Israel still needs about $12,000, so my ten dollars is going to that. I was nominated by Mary Frances Cox. :-) I am nominating Katie Farr and Michael Farr, from Bessemer, Alabama and Rebekah Clark from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Katie and Michael will be jumping with me on Thursday evening. I am excited though, even though this whole mess ought to be over!! He he. Ok, I blogged. Haha!
